Unlike the figure to the right, this figure serves as a candleholder.

The figure is marked in the usual manner, and "Burslem" is also incised.

George and the dragon occurs in two sizes, this being the larger. The figures are typically impressed with the usual mark, and "Burslem" is also incised into the clay.

Possible additions.
I am told that a recumbent greyhound marked WOOD & CALDWELL is listed in an old auction catalog; also that there is a large standing lion with this mark. Any information on these would be appreciated.  

Also, the following bronze-glazed figures are marked for Wood & Caldwell. The same forms, unmarked, occur in an enamel palette.
